Day on the Alpaca Farm  *Deadline Passed*
Instructed by: Keith Bancroft/LeAnna Franklin
August 30, 2008 (Sat)  -  10 am - 3 pm
Class Fee: $0.00
Join the fun and activities at the Tenth Annual Day on the Alpaca Farm held at KeLe Alpacas, E1870 Pine Grove Road, Kewaunee. The Day on the Alpaca Farm is a fundraiser for the Violence Intervention Project that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Kewaunee County. Admission is free. Donations to the Violence Intervention Project (VIP) are requested and greatly appreciated. Day on the Alpaca Farm is a family event with the focus on learning about alpacas while enjoying live music, storytelling, face painting, spinning, weaving, felting, and food. You can spend the day walking alpacas, learning about them, meeting and talking with area breeders and shopping for that special alpaca item. Live music will be provided throughout the day by Home Brew and Jay Stage'r. An exciting addition this year will be Artbeet's First Annual Art and Fine Crafts Show. Artbeet, like VIP, is a non-profit organization benefiting Kewaunee County. There will be a great variety of art, fine crafts and artist demonstrations that will make the day more fun than ever. The silent auction will be an opportunity to make a good buy on items donated by the artists. KeLe Alpacas is located approximately 20 miles east of Green Bay, 2 miles south of Highway 29. Due to construction, go one mile east of Co. AB and take Sleepy Hollow Road south 2 miles to Pine Grove Road. Watch for signs.
